EAT plays a central role in preserving Lebanon’s agricultural heritage, applying traditional farming techniques while also integrating modern, eco-friendly methods to maintain soil health, water efficiency, and crop quality.
In addition to production, the establishment is home to a pedagogical farm, welcoming students and visitors for educational programs on sustainable agriculture and responsible land management.
Through initiatives like “Bayt el Buzur”, EAT also promotes the preservation and use of local seeds, working with organizations such as “Buzuruna Juzuruna” to cultivate heritage varieties like traditional Lebanese tomatoes and other native crops, encouraging seed sovereignty, biodiversity, and the revival of authentic farming practices.
