Established in its early form in 1958 withthe support of the Jesuit fathers, and officially launched as a brand in 1994,the dairy continues to produce preservative-free, additive-free dairy products,including cheese and fermented milk (laban), using fresh milk from cows raisedon-site.
The Laiterie operates with a strong social and environmental mission, employing a significant number of persons with disabilities (30% of the team) and following sustainable production practices, such as running on solar energy, treating wastewater, and recycling packaging and organic waste.
Visitors are welcomed to the “Salle deVente”, where they can watch the production process in real time, taste freshproducts through sandwiches and samples, and purchase dairy goods directly fromthe source, enjoying an authentic farm-to-table experience.
