Established in 2021 as a Post Beirut Blast Project, the skatepark is a safe inclusive space where youth from different social backgrounds and communities can come together to practice skateboarding while developing essential life skills.

Spanning 1,100 square meters, Snoubar Skatepark serves as a vibrant community hub that fosters social cohesion, accountability, and active citizenship. Experienced coaches offer skateboarding lessons that develop life skills education, teaching children resilience, teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.

This public skatepark provides skaters with a safe and welcoming space to practice this urban sport they love, with reduced risks. arcenciel partnered with some of them to train on child safeguarding principles, gender equity, social sports and first aid response, equipping them with essential skills to foster a safe environment at the park. Together, we also developed a Social Skating game manual which combines skating with social values and essential life skills to enhance community engagement.
