What types of therapies does arcenciel offer, and where are they available?

arcenciel provides a range of therapies at reduced costs compared to market rates, delivered by qualified professionals:

  • Physiotherapy: Taanayel Center, Jisr El Wati, Halba
  • Psychomotor Therapy: Taanayel Center, Jisr El Wati,     Halba
  • Speech Therapy: Taanayel Center, Jisr El Wati
  • Psychological Therapy: Taanayel Center, Jisr El Wati
Does arcenciel issue disability cards?

No. arcenciel does not issue disability cards.
However, individuals can obtain their disability card through the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) at the Access and Rights branches located within arcenciel centers.

Why does the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) have Access and Rights branches at arcenciel?

The Ministry of Social Affairs’ Rights and Access program operates through three branches located at arcenciel centers: Jisr El Wati, Halba, and Taanayel.
These branches aim to provide free services to persons with disabilities in accessible and inclusive locations.

Where can I receive assistive devices?

Assistive devices are available at the following arcenciel centers:
Jisr El Wati, Halba, and Taanayel Center.

📅 Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

How can I volunteer with arcenciel?

You can volunteer with arcenciel by sending an email to recruitment@arcenciel.org to inquire about available volunteering opportunities.

What is Cirquenciel, and what does it offer?

Cirquenciel was established in 2001 through a collaboration with Cirque du Monde, the social circus program of Cirque du Soleil. This partnership brought international expertise and a shared vision of using circus arts as a powerful tool for youth empowerment, inclusion, and social change in Lebanon.

Cirquenciel offers a wide range of circus and movement-based classes for children, youth, and adults, including:

·       Parkour classes for kids and adults

·       Mixed Circus Arts

·       Mixed Aerials

·       Aerial Hammock

·       Gymnastics

·       Dance

·       Strength & Flexibility

·       Juggling & Balance

·       Open Play Sessions (including unicycling, stilts, rola-bola, juggling, and slacklining)

Classes are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and accessible, encouraging creativity, physical development, confidence, and teamwork.

Do you provide in-house physiotherapy services?

Yes. arcenciel provides accessible in-house physiotherapy services delivered by qualified professionals to support individuals in regaining mobility, improving physical health, and enhancing their quality of life.

Do you provide mental health support and psychotherapy services?

Yes. arcenciel provides accessible mental health support and psychotherapy services delivered by qualified professionals, aiming to promote well-being and support individuals and communities in need.

Where can I dispose of recyclable waste?

Weekdays:
Recyclable waste can be dropped off at any arcenciel center except Cirquenciel.

Weekends:
Recyclable waste is accepted at the following centers:
Jisr El Bacha, Jisr El Wati, Taanayel Center, Domaine de Taanayel, and Zalka.

Where can I donate unwanted clothes?

Weekdays:
You can donate unwanted clothes at the following arcenciel centers:
Jisr El Wati, Jisr El Bacha, Sed El Bauchrieh, Taanayel Center, Domaine de Taanayel, Damour, and Halba.

Weekends:
Donations are accepted at:
Jisr El Bacha, Sed El Bauchrieh, Taanayel Center, and Domaine de Taanayel.
